WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — The University of Hartford Department of Athletics will host its annual awards show to honor student-athletes and their accomplishments, both on and off the field, next week. The Hawks Choice Awards are set to begin virtually on Monday, May 11. Award winners will be announced "live" each evening on the Hartford Hawks' official Twitter page (@HartfordHawks), beginning at 7 p.m., with nightly recaps being provided later each evening on Facebook (@HartfordAthletics) and Instagram (@HartfordHawks).
The Hawks Choice Awards will be spread out over four days, kicking off with the Department's academic awards on Monday evening (May 11). The show will continue with athletic awards on Tuesday (May 12) and SAAC awards, a set of awards that are modeled after the ESPY's and are voted on by Hartford's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, on Wednesday (May 13). The final day of the Hawks Choice Awards will be on Thursday (May 14), with the announcement of the Department's major awards.
