If you’re like us, you’ve collected a lot of favorite spots. You know the best stores to shop, the yummiest take-out spots and the coolest places to unwind, get a drink and catch some live music.
Feel like sharing? Good. Now is the time to spread the applause. Michigan’s Best Reader’s Choice Awards are looking for your help – and your nominations – to pick out the very best spots under lots of different topics.
From your favorite hiking spots and campgrounds to the nicest local place to shop for a gift for your bestie, we want to know your go-to picks.
Here’s how it works: Pick your region from the links below and nominate as many places as you’d like. The nomination phase of the contest, hosted by our MLive Media Group marketing team, will run through Sept. 3. The top nominees will then move onto the voting phase. We will be asking our readers to vote for their favorites in late September/early October. Winners will be announced on Nov. 14.
“This program has been crafted to showcase the businesses our readers appreciate most, and getting involved is simple. Visit the ballot, and cast your nominations for your favorites!” said Anne Drummond, MLive Media Group’s director of creative advertising.
“Because there are two phases, nominations made early can make a real impact for your favorite Michigan businesses. Check out those nominated, or add a nominee of your own. Those businesses with the most nominations move into our voting phase.”
