Unilever PLC said Monday that it has signed a deal to buy Paula's Choice Skincare from TA Associates.
The Anglo-Dutch multisector retailer--which owns consumer brands such as Ben & Jerry's ice cream, Dove soap and Cif and Domestos cleaning products--said Paula's Choice is a pioneer of science-backed products and direct to consumer e-commerce.
The deal is expected to close in the third quarter, it said, without disclosing the financial details.
