One of Michigan’s top offensive linemen is off the market.
James Livingston of Dexter announced his college decision Sunday afternoon via his Twitter account.
The 6-foot-7, 270-pound offensive tackle committed to the University of Kansas, choosing the Jayhawks over multiple Division I teams.
Livingston was also recruited by Bowling Green, Marshall, Indiana, Arizona State and Iowa State, among others.
The 3-star athlete visited Kansas on Friday before making his pledge to play in the Big 12.
Livingston made a name for himself last fall as the anchor of Dexter’s offensive line.
He was named first-team Ann Arbor Dream Team, first-team All-region and honorable mention All-Southeastern Conference White honors while helping lead the Dreadnaughts offense average 43 points per game and more than 3,300 yards of offense.
Livingston is ranked as the No. 4 2022 offensive tackle prospect in Michigan by 247Sports.
