Twelve years ago, then President Obama stated that his administration would "Fundamentally change America." While knowing that radical change wouldn't fly with most voters, he resorted to the old "frog in the frying pan" approach by applying his agenda in little doses to keep the frog from jumping out of the pan.
Then, after eight years, his almost certain successor, Hillary Clinton, promised to carry on his agenda. Unfortunately for her, a man entered the race whom the critics and the press laughed off until they were reduced to disbelief and tears on Election Day. That was the beginning of four years of unprecedented hate and obstruction thrown at him and aided by 95% of the major news media.
Because space is limited, I'll use the K.I.S.S. method to explain what will occur if the radical left takes over the presidency and the Congress on Nov. 3. The following isn't speculation on my part. It is the stated agenda of what once was your daddy's and granddaddy's political party.
No more waiting for the frog to slowly cook to death. The masks have come off (pun intended), and one of the first things on their agenda will be to eliminate the filibuster, pack the Supreme Court and do away with the Electoral College. Just these three things will ensure they will stay in power in perpetuity.
Then come the ho-hum things like banning fossil fuels, your guns, free almost everything, tearing down the border wall, abortion at any stage of pregnancy (don't get me started on that!), and the list goes on.
What won't change is that the ruling class, as history shows, will still wear the finest skins, live in the best caves and wield the heaviest clubs. The choice is ours.
